Holiday Happenings

The whirl wind of holidays is finally over and work has started again for 2015. I love the idea of starting fresh every year and making a resolution.  Resolutions are not something I have been able to keep in the past, so I'm thinking a new resolution each month is a good solution.  A month long resolution will still be a challenge for me but I think it's doable.

For January I am going to try and finish WIPs. I will not cast on anything new unless I finish everything I have already started.  I have a wide range of projects going so I'm not worried about not being able to find something to fit my mood.

For February I think I am going to try and darn all my socks.  After that I am not planning yet so that I can focus on the now.

I actually was able to finish a lot in the last month.  A few Christmas presents, my mom received a headband and cowl. She really loved my Soho Kitten Cowl the last time I was home so I made her one.

I finished a test knit! The Fresh Mint hat from Alicia Plummer and a pair of raw honey mitts to match.

I got to see my family including my brother home from Cali!

I started Jer's 2014 socks before the end of the year at least. It's Jekyll & Hyde from Sarah Wilson in Frog Tree Pediboo, my go to yarn for socks for him.

And last but not least a fortune that I think is very fitting to start off the new year.
