Constant Adverts

Anyone notice lately the ridiculous amounts of product placement in TV shows? I've always noticed labels and different logos but it has gotten to the point where pointing out the name brand product is written into the script. On the last episode of Bones the whatever company does the car that parallel parks itself was featured. When showing the car parking itself along with the actors being amazed and pointing it out they show a close up of the steering wheel with the company's logo. Another example is on Vampire Diaries (everyone has their guilty pleasure TV right?) they pointed out using the mobile hotspot devices and how cool it was. Now some of the On Demand shows you can't fast forward through the commercials. I wish I could get more on Netflixs or that I could stop watching TV to stay away from them. But I like TV shows a lot, probably too much, and I don't want to stop watching TV because of the onslaught of commercials. It's just a bit annoying to realize that companies are constantly brainwashing people into spending money on things they don't need.
