The new year has started. I am so excited and ready for it. I'm pretty terrible at following through on anything, so I think I'm going to just go with a theme for the year and not as much a resolution. This is going to be a year for becoming lighter. I'll be starting it off with a very physical lightening up, with my breast reduction. The countdown has begun, 20 more days and I'll be 3 lb. lighter. Get ready for some awesome posture and going to yoga more and better fitting clothes and cheaper bras and lots and lots of wonderful things :)
That's something that will really kickstart the year. So the next part of my lighten up theme is trying to lighten the load on my anxiety brain. Instead of trying to focus on going to yoga x times a week, I'm going to try and go more often to focus on how it helps me feel better. Since I'll be down one more excuse of my chest, I'm hoping to get as much baggage off as I can. If I can try and focus on the things that really make me feel better inside I think I can really lighten up.
The last bit of lightening up is of course the yarn stash. With my new body, I will have new measurements and lots of new sweaters to make matching those. I have a good stash of wonderful sweater quantities of yarn to use up. Last year I got a few pairs of socks down, accumulated some more sock yarn but this year hopefully I won't be buying faster then I can knit with sweaters. I would love to knit up the sweaters I have stashed before I buy any more large purchases. Maybe in time for Rhinebeck....?
